Jonas Brothers Bio

The Jonas Brothers are composed of three siblings: Kevin (Paul Kevin Jonas II, b. 1987), Joe (Joseph Adam Jonas, b. 1989), and Nick (Nicholas Jerry Jonas, b. 1992). They were raised in a devoutly Christian and musically inclined household in New Jersey by their parents, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Jonas, and have a younger brother, Frankie, often nicknamed the "Bonus Jonas." Their father, Kevin Sr., was a former ordained minister and a songwriter who helped instill a love of music in his sons. Their mother, Denise, was a singer and former sign language teacher. The family’s life was initially centered around the church, where the boys first began singing. The path to stardom began with the youngest, Nick, who was discovered singing in a hair salon at age six. He began a career on Broadway at age seven, starring in productions like Beauty and the Beast and Les Misérables. Nick’s early solo work in Christian music, for which Kevin and Joe co-wrote songs, caught the attention of Columbia Records. The label decided to sign all three brothers as a group in 2005, recognizing their collective musical talent. The brothers are all married and raising families: Kevin is married to Danielle Deleasa, a former hairdresser, and they have two daughters. Nick is married to actress Priyanka Chopra and they have one daughter. Joe was married to actress Sophie Turner, with whom he has two daughters.

Jonas Brothers Charity Interest

The Jonas Brothers—Kevin, Joe, and Nick—have carved out a career marked by massive early success, a dramatic hiatus, and an even bigger comeback. They first gained traction in the mid-2000s, signing with Hollywood Records and becoming Disney Channel darlings, starring in the Camp Rock movies and their own series, JONAS. Their self-titled 2007 album and 2008's A Little Bit Longer cemented their status as pop-rock heartthrobs, fueled by hits like "S.O.S." and touring extensively on the When You Look Me in the Eyes Tour and the hugely successful Burning Up Tour. The band abruptly split in 2013, citing a "deep rift" over creative differences, leading to a period where Nick and Joe (with DNCE) pursued successful solo ventures. Their reunion in 2019 was a monumental event, marked by the chart-topping single "Sucker" and the album Happiness Begins. They proved their enduring appeal with the massive Happiness Begins Tour (2019-2020), which grossed over $100 million. Their latest phase includes the 2023 album The Album and the ongoing, ambitious Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour (2023-2024), a massive global trek where they play selections from all five major studio albums in a single show, demonstrating a career that has successfully spanned two distinct decades.
