LuMind Research Down Syndrome Foundation

Our mission is to stimulate biomedical research that will accelerate development of treatments to significantly improve cognition, including memory, learning and speech for children and adults and create new opportunities for all.

Through supporting this very focused field of research our goal is to develop treatments that help people with Down Syndrome.   This research will  create new opportunities for all individuals with Down Syndrome  to lead more independent lives, to participate more successfully in schools and employment and to prevent additional early cognitive decline and avoid the early onset of Alzheimer's disease.
