At Autism Speaks, our goal is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders.

At Autism Speaks, our goal is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders. Since our inception, Autism speaks has committed over $200 million globally to research and developing innovative resources for families. In Texas, since 2006, we have awarded over $4,021,900 in local grants supporting pilot programs, basic & clinical research, predoctoral and early intervention & treatment research. This includes funding for one of seventeen Autism Speaks Autism Treatment Network sites in North America~ located at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston! Since 2008, Texas has received over $87,280 in community grant funding, $40,125 in iPad grant funding, and over $20,500 in camp scholarships.  Directly impacting families throughout Texas, we have received   over $147,905 in Family Services funding! Family Services Community Grants  help  community   organizations    establish  and/or expand  existing programs to serve  more  individuals with  autism, and create new programs that demonstrate true  innovation in providing services in one  (or more) of the following areas of need:  Education, Recreation/Community Activities, Equipment/Supportive Technology, or Young Adult/Adult Services.
