Who We Are The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention, control, and public understanding of epilepsy. Our goal is a world where not another moment is lost to seizures. Who We Serve The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago offers support and services to the 125,000 people suffering from Epilepsy and seizures across 43 counties in Illinois.  Worldwide over 50,000,000 people suffer from Epilepsy. How We Serve the Community • We assist individuals who are newly-diagnosed and in search of information and medical referrals. • We provide people who are affected by epilepsy the support they need in managing day-to-day issues which arise as a result of seizures. • We educate the community at large about the many issues surrounding epilepsy, in an effort to reduce the stigma and misunderstandings associated with the disorder.
