Sky's the Limit Fund believes that the cost of attending wilderness therapy programs and follow-up therapeutic programs should not be a barrier to anyone who requires critical and immediate support. The families that receive grants have youth in crisis that are experiencing a myriad of mental and behavioral health issues like depression, suicide attempts, substance abuse and bullying. We believe the best prospects for success for a youth in crisis and their family is to combine wilderness therapy programs with transitional services so the child can return home. Sky's the Limit Fund makes this a reality for low income families. Since our inception in 2010, we have funded over 200 families to the tune of $1 million dollars. Every grant that we provide to a family (average $5,000) is matched by our wilderness therapy partner programs; we have actually given away over $2 million dollars to families who otherwise could not afford wilderness therapy for their children. Wilderness therapy programs use the wilderness as a tool to quickly and effectively impact students in crisis. They are able to challenge themselves physically and emotionally in a loving, therapeutic, healing setting!  Please help us continue to help these kids!
