The Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force was established in 2007 after publication of disturbing data that showed that African American women dies at much higher rates from breast cancer here in Chicago compared to White women even though they got breast cancer less often. The Task Force leaves no stone unturned in trying to reduce these deaths. We engage in grassroots advocacy, innovative research and community outreach and education. We urge you to join our efforts in saving women's lives today.
