Once the school year is over, many children do not have access to healthy food. It is the mission of the Child Core Foundation to provide free healthy and nutritional meals and resources and for children ages 1­-18 years old in low income communities to assist in bringing relief to the underprivileged. We also provide assistance to youth with tutoring, health education, and fun activities.

By serving healthy meals in the correct sites, The Child Core Foundation meets the needs of the community by providing food for children in need. The children will stay healthy in the summer and with our tutoring and activities assistance, they will be prepared to begin a new year of school.

Tutoring Program

Volunteers are on­ hand to offer the children tutoring in various subjects. We offer tutoring for grades 1­-12.

Educational Training On Proper Hygiene and Personal Care

­ Brochures and items pertaining to proper hygiene and personal care are distributed at the sites. ­

Back to School Backpack Drive

Our Back to School Backpack Drive is on the last day of each sites' Summer Food Program and is for Grades K­-12.
