OUR CAUSE PARTNER:
Angels of America's Fallen
To help children of our fallen military and first responders develop into strong and successful adults by providing them positive mentoring and developmental activities when they are at their most crucial developmental phase of life.
We Serve the Children of our Fallen Military and First Responders
The men and women serving in the high-risk voluntary professions of military and first responders are heroes serving our country. Because of the inherent high risk in their training and the performance of their duties, some of them give all and lose their lives while serving. Their families continue to suffer well after our heroes have paid the ultimate price for our freedom and security. Their children have lost one of their biggest mentors during the most crucial developmental time in their life.
The average age of each child is just 7 years old.
Over 16,000 children have lost a parent since Sept 11, 2001.
More than 2,300 were already in single parent households.
Over 1,100 were born after their parent died.
We help when the need is greatest - The crucial time between the loss of a parent and adulthood.
For the children of our fallen to develop into strong and healthy adults, they must beat the odds of the higher risks of depression, drug abuse, dropping out of high school, and suicide they face while missing their parent. To help them avoid those pitfalls, we proactively seek to get them engaged in a healthy outlet they choose, with a coach or instructor who can provide additional adult guidance to them during this critical time. We directly cover all costs for educational and developmental activities that will provide mentoring and develop a passion for a healthy activity that will help the children stay on track as they develop into adults. Activities supported are under the watchful eye of a coach, teacher, or instructor who can provide some of the mentoring and guidance the children are now missing.
Because each child is different, and every child’s specific interest should be cultivated, a broad range of activities are supported. Included are team activities such as soccer, basketball, and football, as well as individual activities such as karate, piano, photography, or guitar. This provides opportunities for physical, mental, and artistic development to promote a healthy body, mind, and spirit.
Angels of America’s Fallen does not directly conduct these activities but covers the costs of lessons, equipment, uniforms, instruments, learning materials, supplies, and other specific needs to enable the children to participate in existing programs within their community. Activities are supported year round in all communities of the United States and its territories.
We actively encourage children to discover their own positive outlet. Our concept is proactive and designed to present a world of opportunities to the children rather than passively asking if they have a need.

Our Mission
To help children of our fallen military and first responders develop into strong and successful adults by providing them positive mentoring and developmental activities when they are at their most crucial developmental phase of life.
Our Vision
To walk alongside the children of our fallen when they need it most, while they are developing, regardless of the cause of their parent's death. Many children fail to qualify for benefits, and fall through the cracks because of their parent's cause of death or unit of assignment. Each child suffers regardless if mom or dad died in a combat zone, training accident, on the job illness, or from suicide as a result of the stress of their jobs. From the child's perspective, the impact is the same, mom or dad is no longer there. No one can ever replace their lost parent, but we can be there for them.
