The overall goal of Single Mothers Outreach is to help women and children get safe, find jobs, secure housing, get educated, stabilize their children's emotional states, manage their finances, and help one another. Each of the agency’s programs either lend a helping hand, facilitate the improvement of life skills, provide resources to promote education, or encourage and celebrate success.Single Mothers Outreach served 505 adults and 1514 children last year. Current programs address crisis in all major areas that may be affected. Single Mothers Outreach has the following objectives for 2013:

To provide services to 150 women and 447 childrenTo relocate to an improved, more economical locationTo provide comprehensive Case Management services to 150 single mothersTo produce and distribute 200 copies of the 2013 Single Parent Resource Guide with vital community resources and low- and no- cost service providersTo provide 50 unduplicated low-income single mothers with Financial Literacy Training in English and in SpanishTo provide 50 low-income single mothers with comprehensive computer skills trainingsTo provide donated food items and free clothing to participating familiesTo provide backpacks filled with school supplies to 200 childrenTo serve 300 women through the SMO Online Support Group
