Michael's Miracles
To offer support to Type 1 diabetic children and their families; to ease the transition into this new life, with the proper tools, resources and support; to make sure every child has access to the proper care, medically and emotionally that they need.
We provide support to Type 1 diabetic children and their families. We start with care packages delivered to the hospitals, then offer a monthly family support group. We offer a Certified Diabetes Educator/Nurse for training of school staff for newly diagnosed children. We send 10 children to camp each summer and we offer many opportunities for children to meet other Type 1 diabetics who offer encouragement and support.
