Hey country music fans, and Blake Shelton fans in particular, there’s some exciting news on the 2020 music front – despite the pandemic! Blake Shelton announced he’s doing a virtual drive-in concert series. The concert will be shown on Saturday, July 25th and joining him “on stage” will be Gwen Stefani and Trace Adkins.

Shelton announced his drive-in concert series on July 8th on Instagram. And because it’s a drive-in concert, tickets are NOT individually priced.  A car, truck or SUV load of up to six people can enter to see the concert for $114.99 per car. As of this writing at least 300 sites have been selected for Shelton’s drive-in concert series with tickets go on sale starting July 14th.

Unlike some of the other drive-in concerts announced by other performers, Shelton’s drive-in concert series will be recorded and won’t be live. But that hasn’t dampened his fans spirits in the least. It’s a great, cost efficient, and safe way for them to enjoy Shelton’s music, humor and chemistry with Stefani and Adkins.  And speaking of safe, CDC guidelines will be implemented and enforced at each drive-in concert site.  Vegicles will be spaced at least 6 feet apart and all staff at each drive-in will be required to wear masks.

This summer for sure proved that drive-in theaters are NOT just for movies anymore! To all those attending Shelton’s drive-in concert on July 25th, have a great, fun and safe time – you deserve it!
