Nonprofit Development Alliance (formerly Nonprofit Compliance Specialists) is led by Gitonga Kanampiu, MBA, an expert on compliance and accountancy with nonprofit organizations. For more than 20 years, he has worked as a CFO with several groups including a position as the former Controller of Easter Seals of Inland Counties well as providing independent CFO services for organizations throughout Southern California.

Nonprofit Development Alliance (formerly Nonprofit Compliance Specialists) is led by Gitonga Kanampiu, MBA, an expert on compliance and accountancy with nonprofit organizations. For more than 20 years, he has worked as a CFO  with several groups including a position as the former Controller of Easter Seals of Inland Counties well as providing independent CFO services for organizations throughout Southern California.

Other accomplishments include being part of the management team for several nonprofit organizations in Southern California including being part of the analysis team to secure a $40 million grant, and leading another in accounting for a $52 million national fundraising campaign.

He specializes in all nonprofit issues including: government & foundation grant compliance; advice and preparation on IRS and other regulatory reports; fundraising activities (including telethons) and everything else in between. Gitonga teaches accounting at National University and has been a visiting instructor for nonprofits at Cal State Fullerton.
