The WGN Radio Neediest Kids Fund is committed to helping at risk kids across Chicagoland. With the support of qualified nonprofit agencies, we give kids access to a well-rounded education with support systems encouraging them to stay in school and enter college. We teach them healthy lifestyles through nutrition programs and provide job training with placement opportunities. We can do this only because of you and your support. There are countless agencies helping to make sure that disadvantaged kids receive the education, counseling, training and support they need to be set on the path to success. Since 1992, more than $17 million has been granted through the Neediest Kids Fund to support these vital programs for our youth. In partnership with the McCormick Foundation, we create even greater impact. Together, we monitor grants to ensure high quality programs with quantitative results are helping our children realize their potential. The Foundation matches all gifts at fifty cents on the dollar, encouraging charitable giving. One hundred percent of all gifts, plus the match, benefits underserved children.
