NOF continues to develop and advance programs, initiatives, and materials that help the public, patients, healthcare professionals, policymakers, media and other key stakeholders to be better informed and educated about osteoporosis prevention, diagnosis, and treatment/management.

NOF’s efforts are developed and guided with input and direction from  many of the nation’s leading experts in the clinical, academic, and research arenas. The breadth of the expertise is important in helping the organization maintain a balanced platform that appropriately reflects NOF’s status as an organization working in the public interest. NOF’s aim is to develop and disseminate factual and useable materials to individuals, healthcare providers, and communities in order to increase awareness of and knowledge about bone health and osteoporosis and to positively influence health behavior.
