Our mission is build healthy families and a strong Dallas community by preventing child abuse and neglect. Our mission resonates through four educational and therapeutic programs for families at increased risk for child abuse. The Center works to empower its clients by teaching positive parenting methods and supporting parents in strengthening their families' emotional, economical, physical, and social capacities. The CAP Center is a key provider of prevention services for high-risk children and families in Dallas County. Since 1992, more than 36,000 clients have been served by the CAP Center.  The CAP Center is a United Way agency.
