The Catholic Education Foundation is a 501(c) 3 grant-making corporation providing financial assistance to qualifying students, schools, and parishes of the Diocese of Joliet, and benefiting donors through professional asset management and philanthropic planning of tax-advantaged gift vehicles which correspond with the donor’s charitable desires

To meet this goal, the Foundation educates the general public of numerous tax advantaged gift vehicles, and works with the donor to determine an effective and appropriate vehicle to match their specific desires and fulfill their charitable intent.  The seven counties of the Diocese of Joliet are blessed to have fifty-three elementary schools and seven high schools, each striving to bring the word of God to children in a Catholic faith-based environment.

The Foundation directly distributes hundreds of need-based scholarships and educational program grants each year.

The Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors, which includes both clergy and lay leaders from the diocese.
