NCO Youth & Family Services is an agency that was founded in 1971 out of a need by a group of concerned parents, community and religious leaders to help youth and families in their daily struggles.
NCO Youth & Family Services is committed to supporting and enriching the lives of individuals and families in the community. It is the belief that no family is immune to the negative influences that exist in society today. That is why it is vitally important for young people to have strong self-concepts, good decision-making skills, important information, and support from their families, schools and community. NCO Youth & Family Services has provided services for the Naperville, Lisle, Aurora, Woodridge, Downers Grove and Westmont areas.
It is important for children and young adults to have access to good counseling and a safe refuge when crisis situations make it necessary for them to find shelter away from their families. Without such support, unresolved conflict between youth, parents and peers can result in depression, anxiety, running away from home, problems at school, legal concerns, unemployment or substance abuse.
